On St. Nicholas Day, the Highwalk opens its turnstiles and a first-class experience awaits you here every day from 10 am to 4 pm - one of the longest suspension bridges in Germany. Feel the thrill as you float over the 617-metre-long and 60-metre-high bridge, nestled in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Teufelsberg.

At the ticket machines at each bridge entrance - at the Rodenberg Alm & on the “Teufelsberg” opposite: Only cashless payment possible.

Travel by public transport:
Take the regional train to Rotenburg an der Fulda station. From there, bus 303 will take you directly to the Rodenberg stop. This is only a few minutes' walk from the suspension bridge.
Arrival by car:
Directions: Follow Kasseler Straße and turn into Heinz-Meise-Straße. Here you will find the Kottenbach parking lot.
Parking: There are plenty of free parking spaces available at the Kottenbach parking lot. From there it is about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the HIGHWALK suspension bridge. Please follow the signs.
Important note: For safety reasons, it is not permitted to take the following items or animals with you: baby carriages, wheelchairs, bicycles, dogs

Alternatively, there are beautiful hiking trails from the Teufelsberg to the Kottenbach parking lot. The Teufelsberg and the surrounding forests are a paradise for hikers. The well-maintained R6 and R7 hiking trails are ideal for long walks and discoveries. Thanks to new signposting, orientation is child's play.
